Producing motion graphics to give a swift overview of my design capabilities.
I wanted to give a quick summary of my design capabilities on my portfolio home page to immediately captivate visitors and to encourage them to explore the website further.
Focusing on my core strengths
Over a three day period, I produced a 50-second motion graphics video, using Adobe After Effects, that focuses on each of my core strengths. The 3D camera flows in one seamless continuous motion through previous work I have done, including motion graphics itself. I added music and sound effects in Adobe Audition and added an unmute button to the home page as the HTML5 video is muted by default.
Once the video has played through, a button linking to my "work" page appears to encourage users to explore further.
